Isometric Wall Squat
The #1 patellar-tendon health movement for jump athletes — isometric wall sits load the tendon controllably without excessive joint movement. Quads, glutes, patellar tendon3-5 sets × 30-60 seconds

Coaching cues
- 1.Angle — knee-pain athletes start shallow (<45° knee angle)
- 2.Knees track over toes
- 3.Breathe normally — don't hold your breath
- 4.Target 5 sets × 45s, progressing gradually
Detailed training method

[Common Errors]✗ Knees past toes→move feet farther from the wall ✗ Holding breath→breathe ✗ Too deep with knee pain→start shallow
[Progressions]Two-leg shallow→two-leg 90°→single-leg shallow→single-leg 90°→loaded
