BounceLab was created to bridge the divide between elite collegiate sports-science laboratories and the millions of basketball, volleyball, and track athletes training alone on community courts.

Our Mission

For decades, vertical jump improvement has been dominated by one-size-fits-all 50-page PDF programs, extreme leg-burnout routines, and pseudoscientific marketing promises.

At BounceLab, we believe that every centimeter gained begins with an honest diagnosis. By assessing an athlete's relative strength, countermovement kinetics, movement coordination, and tendon stiffness, we identify the exact bottleneck capping their leap — then prescribe an executable, periodized training block designed to fix it.

We ground all training logic in stretch-shortening cycle (SSC) mechanics, ground contact duration (<250ms fast vs >250ms slow), and rate of force development (RFD) rather than social media fads.

Force-Velocity Individualization

Jumpers fail when training the wrong side of their curve. We diagnose strength deficits versus velocity deficits using validated countermovement jump (CMJ) and relative squat ratios.

NSCA & CSCS Volume Standards

Every AI-generated plan adheres to NSCA plyometric contact-volume bands (60–100 beginner, 100–140 intermediate, 120–200 advanced weekly foot contacts) with mandatory rest intervals.

Strict Safety & Injury Gates

Athletes under 16, those with a BMI > 30, or anyone reporting active knee or tendon pain are automatically blocked from high-impact depth jumps and redirected to low-impact regressions.

BounceLab is an athletic training software and performance education platform. We do not provide medical diagnosis, physical therapy, or healthcare treatment.

Vertical jump training subjects the patellar tendon, Achilles tendon, and lower spine to forces exceeding 5 to 8 times body weight. If you have a history of acute injury, patellar tendinopathy (jumper's knee), post-surgical reconstruction, or persistent joint swelling, do not attempt high-impact plyometrics without clearance from a licensed orthopedic physician or physical therapist.
