Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information BounceLab collects, how it is used and protected, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information — username and a securely hashed password that you create.
- Profile information — optional fields such as age, height, weight and training level.
- Assessment and training data — movement-assessment answers, generated training plans, jump-test and training-log records, and saved reports.
- Feedback — content you submit through the feedback form.
- Payment data — paid plans are not available yet. When checkout launches, we will not store credit-card numbers; payment processing will be handled by a third-party payment provider under its own privacy policy.
2. How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To generate assessments, training plans and track your progress.
- To provide the AI Q&A and coaching features using the data you submit.
- To activate paid access and manage subscriptions.
- To respond to feedback and improve the Service.
3. How We Store & Protect Data
When you are signed in, your assessment answers, reports, training plans and jump records are stored securely in a managed cloud database (Supabase). Passwords are stored only as salted hashes — we never store plain-text passwords. We limit access to servers and use encryption in transit (HTTPS).
Local browser storage. Assessment answers, saved plans, reports, jump records and feedback drafts may also be kept in your browser's local or session storage (on your device, unencrypted and device-specific). This keeps the service usable before sign-in and across reloads. Clearing your browser data removes this local copy; data is synced to the cloud only while you are signed in.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following processors to operate the Service:
- Supabase — cloud database and authentication infrastructure.
- Payment processor — future payment processing for paid plans (not currently active).
- Cloudflare Turnstile — human-verification on registration.
- DeepSeek AI — powers the diagnosis and training-plan generation. When you generate a diagnosis, training plan or Q&A answer, the data you submit is sent to DeepSeek for processing. DeepSeek processes this data outside the European Economic Area.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
The Service uses small cookies and your browser's local/session storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences and save your in-progress work on your device. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Your Choices & Rights
- You can edit your profile information at any time.
- You can request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
- Deleting your account removes your stored profile, records and subscription data.
- If you are in the EEA, the UK or California, you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We do not sell personal information.
Retention. We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your stored profile, records and subscription data are removed. Browser-local data stays on your device until you clear it.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with the third-party processors listed above as needed to operate the Service, or when required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The latest version will always be available at this page.
10. Contact
Privacy questions can be sent through the Feedback page or by email at BounceLab.jump@outlook.com.
